Warmington Cinema is a voluntary, not for profit, monthly cinema run by village people. It is open to all, usually on the second Friday of the dark evening months. The films are screened in the Village Hall with the doors opening at 7:30pm and screenings starting at 8:00pm. Wine, juice and hot beverages are sold at the bar before the programme starts and during the interval. The evenings are widely seen as a friendly local social event. Current season titles are listed on the Warmington Website home page. Admission is £6 with the limited premier seating available at £6.50

Our film selections are chosen by local people for local people.

We look forward to welcoming you to our next performance.

Gospel Reading Marathon

St Mary's Church, Warmington

9.00am to 6.00pm Sunday 9th September 2017

A special birth, angels, wise men bring gifts, water turned into wine, feeding of 5,000 people, calming a storm, miraculous healing, walking on water, an innocent man dying, a stone rolled away, a man coming back from the dead, lives changed.  All this and more on Saturday, 9th September at St Mary’s Church, Warmington from 9.00 am and 6.00 pm.

The first four books of the New Testament – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John – will be read aloud and without a break in a Gospel Reading Marathon.  On the same day, visitors will join us as part of Heritage Open Day and the annual Northamptonshire Historic Churches Trust Ride+Stride.

Please do come and visit us on 9th September.  You are also welcome to take part in the Gospel Reading Marathon but you will need to book a reading slot as soon as possible.  To do this, please contact Kathryn Baird, Co-ordinator on 01832 280249 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
