Browser Requirements

This site uses Java Scripts and can be viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or above. You must have enabled the use of Active Scripting/Java Scripts through the Tools/Options menu of your browser.
You can use Netscape Navigator 6 but some of the table and text alignments will be incorrectly shown.
If you use Netscape Navigator 4 the date and time the page was last updated will be displayed as an error and the hypertext links will not highlight (turn red) as the cursor moves over them (see 'Internal and External Links' below).
If you are using Opera the browser identification should be set to Opera. If set to MSIE the menus on the home page may be displayed in a corrupted format.

Accessibility
|
This site has been configured to make use of the text resizing function built into browsers such as Internet Explorer 6. If you find the text size too small to read comfortably, go to the VIEW option on your browser and select Text Size. You can select which font size is best for you.

Page Header
|
Every page on the site has a header that provides access to the home page (by clicking on the image on the left) and eight utility pages.
- Site Map - View the web site map and links to all the main pages.
- Search - Search the whole of the Warmington Village Web using a single word or phrase. The result is a page listing links to everywhere in the site the word is found.
- Diary - Diary of village events.
- Forum - The discussion forums where you can leave messages, discuss topics of interest or advertise things for sale.
- Postcard - Send your family and friends an 'electronic' postcard from Warmington.
- Feedback - Tell us what you think about the Warmington Village Web. The form will be automatically sent to us when you press the send button.
- Links - A page that includes all the external links listed on the site, plus others that may be of interest.
- Help - This help page.

Home Page
Menu

The home page (the page that opens when you first log on to the site) has five drop down menus just below the page header.
To choose a menu item click on the small down arrow to the right of a menu and select an item. The browser will automatic be directed to the selected page.

Internal and
External Links
|
All the bookmarks and internal/external links in this site are of the same style, blue text underlined: Hypertext link. When the cursor passes over a link the text turns to red underlined: Hypertext link. (This does not apply if you are using Netscape 4.78 or less). Clicking on the the red text will take you to the linked page.
The only exceptions are the menu bars that are provided on some pages to give a direct link to an associated page. These are white text in a light blue box that changes to red text in a brown box when the cursor passes over them. (This does not apply if you are using Netscape 4.78 or less). As with all the links on the site, when the text turns red the link is activated and can be clicked on to go to the new page.
At the very bottom of every page, except the Home Page, is a link to return you to the home page:
