10 November 2003 - The VDS has been
approved by the ENC Planning and Licensing Committee and will now go to the
Strategy Committee. The Leader of the Council said that the VD should be used as
an example for other Parishes to follow. A great complement to all those who
have worked so hard to prepare the document.
1 November 2003 - Following the end of the consultation exercise a few minor changes were made
to the Village Design Statement at a meeting of the Project Board on 27th
October 2003. The Village Design Statement will now be considered by the ENC
Planning Committee on 5th November 2003. It will then go to the Strategy
Committee on 24th November 2003. If approved, the Design Statement will then be
adopted as supplementary planning Guidance.
The Design Statement will be made available via the Warmington and ENC
websites. Printed copies will be available but must be requested in advance from
the Steering Group Chairman William Du Croz. There will be a charge for the
document.
