 The
draft Village Design Statement was formally launched on 26 September 2003.
Prior to the launch, local architect Paul Bancroft RIBA gave a very
interesting illustrated talk on the importance of good design in local
communities.
His comment that buildings should do no harm to their surroundings brought
home the importance of setting out guidance for potential developments in
Warmington.
The consultation period runs until 23 October 2003 and comments can be sent
to the Chairman of the VDS committee, William Du Croz, 2 Chapel Street,
Warmington, Peterborough PE8 6TR.
