The parish of Warmington covers approximately 2,400 acres, the
majority being arable farm land. The river Nene forms the northern
boundary and the county border with Cambridgeshire the north-eastern
boundary. The south-eastern boundary is formed by Billing Brook
running from near America Farm to Ashdon Wold. There are few natural
features that define the south-western edge of the parish except for
the hedge rows and field boundaries that have not been ploughed out.
