Ivy Wesson's Pocket Park Crumble

Ivy compiled this recipe using ingredients from the Orchard Pocket Park.

Ingredients

    1 lb stewed apples, washed peeled and cored (sweeten to taste)
    1/2 lb red cherry plums, washed and stoned
    Pinch of cloves
    4 oz white flour
    4 oz wholemeal flour
    4 oz demerara sugar
    4 oz fat
Method

Add the raw cherry plums to the stewed apples, mix and add more sugar if necessary.

Add pinch of cloves, and place in an oven proof dish.

Mix the other ingredients into a crumble, and spread over the fruit.

Cook in a moderately hot oven (190oC) for 30 minutes.
